Privacy Policy

Status. FedTuna is in pre-launch. A legal entity in the United Arab Emirates is being incorporated. Until then, the data controller is named below as a private individual. This document will be replaced with a full version once the company is registered and a Data Protection Officer is appointed.

1. Who collects your data

The data controller for this website is Fedtuna Tech Ltd (Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates). All contact about your data should go to hello@fedtuna.ai.

2. What we collect

The website is largely static. We collect personal data only when you choose to contact us:

Pilot request — when you use the Request a pilot button, your email client opens with a pre-filled message addressed to hello@fedtuna.ai. The email you send contains whatever you choose to write (typically: your name, work email, company name, brief description of your use case). We receive only what you send.
Subscribe — when you use the Subscribe form, your email address is passed to your email client, which sends a message to hello@fedtuna.ai. We receive your email address and nothing else from this action.
Hosting logs — our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, timestamp). These are used for security and operational purposes and are not connected to any other data.

We do not run advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers on this site during the soft-launch period.

3. What we don’t collect

The FedTuna product itself — the federated fine-tuning platform described on this site — is engineered so that raw customer data never leaves the customer’s infrastructure. When prospective customers run pilots, we receive only the privacy-preserving artifacts described in our public materials (gradients, weight deltas, aggregated quality metrics). We do not receive, store, or have any path to your underlying training data, source records, or model inputs.

The agentic layer of the product extends this same privacy boundary. Agents operate on the privacy-preserving artifacts only. They do not have access to raw customer data, and no third-party LLM provider used by the agent receives raw customer data.

4. Why we use it

To respond to your pilot request or subscription.
To send infrequent updates (typically quarterly) about pilots and releases, if you have subscribed.
To maintain the security and integrity of the website.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

5. Where it lives

Incoming emails are received and stored in standard email infrastructure operated under the data controller’s account. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider per their default retention.

Once the UAE legal entity is incorporated, data storage will move to infrastructure owned by that entity and the data controller of record will change. This page will be updated accordingly.

6. How long we keep it

Pilot inquiry and subscription emails are retained for the duration of the relationship plus a reasonable archival period (typically up to three years), unless you ask us to delete sooner. Server logs are typically retained for 30 to 90 days depending on the hosting provider’s defaults.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have one or more of the following rights:

To know what personal data we hold about you.
To request a copy of that data.
To request that we correct inaccurate data.
To request that we delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
To withdraw consent for further communication at any time.
To lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fedtuna.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This site does not set cookies during the soft-launch period beyond strictly necessary technical cookies that may be set by the hosting provider for security purposes (for example, Cloudflare anti-bot tokens). No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are used.

If we add optional cookies in the future, we will add a cookie notice and an opt-in control before they are used.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the legal entity is incorporated, when product features change in a way that affects data handling, or when applicable law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
